What you would expect
Big difference even when loading the first round. Nice strong spring, made a world of difference at the range, no misfires, or jams. Works like a magazine should.

Perfect for me.
I carry a S&W Shield, 6 x 5 x 7/8. A little shorter without the 8 round magazine. This pouch is perfect for that firearm. I had rather it had a flap with magnets holding the firearm in, because the zipper is slower to open, and kind of gets in the way, I had also rather have a wide belt loop, or two loops as opposed to the clip, but I have looked long and hard for the right size, and this is it.
