This SDR is whatcha want
Oh man, I couldn't be happier with my NooElec SDR. This thing is great--supported by a good handful of software programs out there, clean-running, professionally packaged, and certainly good-looking.
It's worth noting that the device gives off a fair amount of heat. I don't know how to tell if it's too hot or just working properly, but it seems fine when I ran it for a few hours.
I like how it has an SMA female antenna attachment, because it enables me to use the same SMA male antenna from my handheld.
I am impressed with the thing, for sure. Almost alarmed at the quality for ~40 bucks. Hats off to NooElec for bringing a great product to market!

Not any other radios out there with that feature that I know of. The menus and display make the radio easy to familiarize with and I look forward to learning the rest of its capabilities. clarabear03 shipped it quickly.
