Classic Seiko Excellence
Perfect fit and style for my 80's vintage Seiko wristwatch. When I purchased the watch, it had a Spiedel band on it that just didn't work. This one restored it to its former shine and glory!

Classic, Compact and Capable!
These little cameras are great for take-anywhere convenience because they are so small and easy to use. The exposure and focus are almost always on. The 35mm fixed focal length is a great general purpose length, a little shorter than true "normal" for 35mm film, but not so wide that full-length portraits look strange. I previously owned the Stylus Epic and wanted to get another until I saw the prices. I think the original Stylus makes a perfectly suitable alternative at about a third of the price, is you get the right one and you can live with the slightly slower lens. The only reason for 4 stars is that the camera doesn't remember that you've disabled the auto flash if you turn it off. Every time you turn it on the auto flash re-enables. The lens is nice, contrasty, and sharp for a small point and shoot and I personally find it fits my hands better than the Epic. For what I paid, it was an excellent deal.

Amazing Bargain
2 of 2 found this helpful When I purchased my first auto focus body (an N90s) back in the early 90's, this camera was going for $399. This year, I decided to start shooting B&W film and I found one of these on ebay for $15 because it was 'untested'. It works perfectly so that makes this body hands down the best $15 I have EVER spent on photography! The body is light but still has a built-in drive motor so you can use older lenses which will save you even more money. It has a full feature set and at the time only the F100 and F5 were more advanced in Nikon's lineup. The camera is very compact so it's easily carried all day and feels good to almost all hand sizes. The controls naturally fall under my fingers and if you're familiar with Nikon's control set from any of their SLRs or DSLRs you'll feel right at home. The exposure has always been excellent with print film and it will do 3D matrix metering with D lenses. The only shortfalls in my book are the slow flash sync speed (1/125) and that it uses 123 size lithium batteries. You can get the external battery grip and use AA's which adds bulk, but no vertical shutter release, so for me that's not a trade-off I'm willing to make. One thing to watch out for is the dreaded sticky grip! The clear rubberized coating put on the body to enhance grip can degrade over time and become a sticky mess. I cleaned mine with rubbing alcohol and some very well used green (less abrasive) scotchbrite but it can be off-putting and you should expect to spend some time at it. Overall, these bodies are great bargains that are light and compact while still being accurate, and having enough control that you can do essentially anything you want with your photography.
