No need to wait
No need to wait for it to cool down unlike propane gas much brighter then I thought it was going to be I was pleasantly surprised with this lantern three night fishing trips down and no problem one of those trips was squid fishing, worked like a charm on hi for hours. Tied with a rope over water.I have used my propane lanterns for over 40 years but this is light weight and no risk of burns just push button and into the car,truck or fish cart. I love it so far.
