Good for everything
I've used a drop or two to clean all metal parts on guitars and to oil strings and fretboards. Never noticed discoloration after a decade on rosewood, and the cling seems to fade very naturally.
Remington oil sticks way too much for me and is very film like.
Note: use weak contact cleaner on electrical parts, not this.

Get you by in a pinch

Works good as a preamp for a mic, but the unbalanced lines on the other channels have a dramatic volume difference.
Not a bad item, just not good for much.
