love Garmin but having some problems
3 of 3 found this helpful I bought the 400T because it had a few features that some of the others didn't have ie: it could show you the geocache hints as well as location. BUT, I have had to return it to Garmin. First they thought it was a defective SD chip and I sent that back to them and that didn't fix the problem so then they decided it was the GPS itself, so I sent it back to them and I am waiting to get it returned. One of the problems was the compass would not show correct info. The 400t has a great clear screen even in the bright sun and is easy to use, I hope Garmin can fix the problem. I talked to other owners and several had the same problem.

Lightweight with good features
