Fun family game
It is fun improving the town, buying and improving your house, letting other family members build houses in your town, catching fish and bugs, dropping presents outside each others' doors...

wonderful book of children's poetry
This is a delightful collection of poetry for children. My dad read these poems aloud to my siblings and I when we were young, and I have now purchased two used copies of my own to read to my children. We read poems each night before bed, each child choosing one poem to be read aloud. They have memorized their favorites simply by listening to them over and over. I love this collection because the poems are fun and silly and innocent and good. I bought a more modern book of children's poetry and some of the selections are dark and disturbing, and many portray a negative attitude towards authority. Piper, Pipe That Song Again is my favorite collection of poems for children.
