If your hooked on pixel count, your missing out. Amazing camera !

This is a superb bit of kit ! Its worth mentioning that its also the only digital SLR Ive ever known that produces jpgs as good as RAW conversion ! It also responds superbly to a little sharpening in PS. For best results, shoot at 6m pixel not 12m pixel.I regualy print pics 13" x 19" and they are biting sharp with amazing colour and tonality. Looked at 100% on the screen, my D300 produces obvious more detail, but, and its a big but, its very hard to spot the difference in a A3+ print. Fuji Knew what they were doing when they built this camera.Its designed for producing high quality prints and not huge detailed files. Let me put it another way. If im shooting stock for a lient I use a different camera. If im shooting for prints, IE a wedding or portait session, or indeed for myself, I pick up the fuji !!!!

Really sharp images wide open, with really nice Bokeh, creates beautiful images. Build is obviously superb, as is both focus speed and accuracy. Focus breathing is a problem, that some complain about. I find it just fine and no problem. I can still fill the frame with just a head shot and that is close enough. Since the focus breathing also effects the short end too.... I find this a bonus. At close distance the 70 acts closer to 60 mm which closes the gap nicely if I am using it with a 35mm. Highly recommended !
