Problems with scroll wheel and poor button design!
4 of 6 found this helpful I love Logitech products and I've been using Performance MX mouse since they launched it years ago, and never had any problems. My Performance MX mouse was getting really old, so when I saw this new fancy looking MX Master mouse, I decided to upgrade.
MX Master looks cool, however ... there are two issues with this mouse ...
1. Scroll wheel - when wheel is unlocked and I'm scrolling long web page, when I stop the wheel with my finger, the page should stop scrolling, but it doesn't ... the page will move up and down before it completely stops, and this is very annoying thing, in particular for the eyes. I don't know if this is some kind of mechanical issue or is it something that could be fixed with software or firmware update.
2. Two side buttons on the left side of the mouse, used to go back and forth between pages, have a really weird design. They are long, irregular shape and side by side to each other, and it's terribly hard to hit only one of the buttons with thumb. You either have to do some acrobatic moves with your thumb, or you hit both buttons at the same time.
I'm very disappointed with this mouse and I'm still waiting for the answer from Logitech. Anyway, I'm definitely getting another Performance MX mouse while they still sell them. It's an old model, but at least I know that one works great.
