Smart Wifi Thermostat
1 of 1 found this helpful This is an older Smart Thermostat which does not require a C-wire as the newer Smart units do. That is why I specifically selected it .... no need to go into the attic and create a C-wire workaround! The Sensi phone app is very good at guiding you through the install process.
Only snafu I had was getting multiple schedules created. Had to enable a setting to proceed with that.
My electric company does not offer a rebate on the Sensi. Check with yours before buying if saving extra money by buying a newer model is a priority.
Overall, I am very pleased with the Sensi!

Easy to use
The previous smartphones I have owned seemed to take forever to charge from 20% to 100% via micro USB cable/AC adapter. The Samsung Wireless charger is much simpler to use since you're merely laying your phone (on top of the charger) on the desk or counter to begin charging. I am only using wireless chargers with my Samsung S6 and have observed a much faster charge rate vs. micro USB cable.
