Works great with a 4K TV.
8 of 8 found this helpful I bought this unit as my "old" Pioneer VSX-1019 did not have the chops to work well with a new LG 4K smart tv. I was amazed by the better sound with default settings. I have a Bose Acoustimass 10 5.1 system. It has great on-screen menus and is easy to program. I only gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because it was advertised as having the ability to work with 2 zones simultaneously. That is not totally true. It was a pain to setup. Also it will not work with 4 ohm speakers. My second zone has Bose speakers and I had to buy a second amp to power them. Thank goodness for my Harmony Elite. I was able to program it to make it all work seamlessly. Otherwise I would have been in remote control hell trying to do all that I wanted to do with the Sony.
