some classic American traditions made easy
A bit dated, but I was looking for some older ideas for decorations sort of early Colonial Williamsburg style, and found this to be exactly what i was looking for. tradition never goes out of style! some very authentic text mixed in from the past. The photos were very well done as well.

nice book, lovely pictures, but not too exciting
1 of 1 found this helpful very beautiful book, my only complaint is that like many interior designers, she has a definite look. If you love mirrored tables, venetian glass, shiny fabrics, and ugly lampshades you will love this book. Take any room from this book and it would work in a house from any other part of the book, too much of the same: colors, fabrics, furniture, glass, lamps, etc etc etc

Inspiring, Wonderful and Beautiful photos!
So I was a great fan of her father and his design aesthetic, and purchased a book previously by Alexa, which I liked. However I’d say this current book is exceptional, it shows some decor projects by both her father and herself and also her design inspiration from famous places around the world, I enjoyed the book immensely!!!
