Has saved me thousands of dollars
3 of 3 found this helpful I just replaced one of these with a new one. I used the first one for about 15 years, and I cut my hair almost every week. I only had to replace it now because I dropped it on the blades and damaged the business end. The new one appears to be built just as well, with the possible exception that the new combs seem slightly less rigid- but the old combs fit the new unit as well. The blades are sharp, the unit cuts well, and there is very little mess to clean up. I love these clippers, and was relieved to find that Remington still carries them.
