One Of Kaye's Best
The movie has been reviewed ad nauseum......so I won't belabor the issue. It's a good movie and well worth viewing if you like and appreciate Danny Kaye, as I do!! Great supporting cast and loaded with zany nonsense from yesteryear. (no "F" words, etc) This is the best version available in a crowded field of competitors...get the HBO version....

One of the all time great movies directed by Frank Capra....lot of meaning that would serve us well today!!!! Blu-ray is a great improvement !!!

One of John's Best!!!
The music is great and Fogerty's voice strong and bright!!! Great song selection to boot....as for estocks, the vender?? They too have been a great group to deal with now on several transactions for me recently!!! If you can find this somewhat rare CD you will be glad you bought it...I can't evaluate the different sound qualities of the original release and the re-mastered version for the audiophiles, however. If you're not overly picky and just want the music I think either will do....I bought the Festival Records release for a paltry $7.00 and $3.00 s/h......
