A poor imitation of a study guide.
Hardly a study guide, the front cover is spruced up to make it look more like one. The thematic commentaries and character studies are minimal indeed, with general notes that anyone could otherwise glean in more detail from Google. This is NOT on a par with Letts, Sparknotes or similar. Nowhere near. That's my opinion - having only taught English Literature for over thirty years.

A timely and hopeful overview
Comprehensive in its review of the diaconate, especially of documentation outside of LG. A timely work, bringing an up-to-date sense of the order.

Excellent companion book
Excellent compilation by Fr Jude, as expected. Very high quality presentation, which befittingly complements the content.
