Swing Arm Tool Won’t Mate With Locking Nut.
This tool is needed to get the two special swing arm nuts off. The tool has four evenly spaced tabs that engage four evenly spaced notches in the nut. Unfortunately the tabs on the tool and the notches would not mate. The new bearing kit from Honda had new swing arm nuts that were brand new. The tool failed to engage the new locking nut. The width of these tabs was slightly larger than the widths of the notches making the tool unusable.
I was able to get an exact Honda tool from a dealer and this tool did the job. The part on eBay would have been s good deal because it was half the price of the Honda tool, unfortunately it didn’t work do it was a bad deal.
