Great value
Bought used (but like new), item is great value. Even if the CPU is 4 years old, 8th gen Intel is still good enough as it has 4 cores. This also meets Windows 11's minimum requirements to run.
T480s in particular is a great model for upgradeability as it has a SODIMM RAM slot, unlike newer TXXXXs series which already have soldered RAM. This also has thunderbolt and USB C so it has modern enough ports, especially for docking.
Battery life isn't as good as M1 Macs, but compared to newer Intel laptops, the battery life of the T480s is respectable. It might be a good idea to buy a new replacement battery though, costs less than 50 USD.
Just need to make sure the used item is in great shape as it can be a hit or miss depending on the previous user. But it seems lie eBay refurbished items are of great quality.
