Great radios. I am getting 3/4 mile ran...
Great radios. I am getting 3/4 mile range in the city housing area at high power. Waterproof, FM Radio, NOAA Weather and alert monitoring, and all the GMRS frequencies and Repeater capable. Wideband and Narrowband selectable so you can interface with all the FRS walkie talkies too (which get max 1/2 mile in my area). ideal for use around water sports (note: they don't float), camping and trekking. Give the kiddies the FRS radios and the more sophisticated GMRS radios to the teens and adults.
