A CUT ABOVE !!!
0 of 1 found this helpful This is a good starter set that can be found at bargain prices with research. While not quite as sharp as the international Premio or international Classic sets, that can be easily and quickly corrected with a Henckels sharpener which is eventually needed anyway for any knife set. This set is solidly built with good weight and balance. The knives feel perfect in hand and you get the look of high quality making this a good value. Rust will be an issue for any of these sets if not maintained properly. An inexpensive product called Bar Keepers Friend will immediately remove any rust, stains or scratches should they appear, so no need to be concerned. Remember, you get the Henckels name without spending hundreds of dollars and you get a full block set! Again the construction and finish is flawless. Durability will not be an issue with proper care on the German Stainless blades which are of good quality. For just a few dollars, you get all of this in a set that is " A Cut Above " and a great deal at the cost of a nice dinner out for 2!
