Not what expected but good.
My brush was Not made in Japan, but I believe Thailand (I discarded the label). Quality is good. Price a tad higher than it should have been (seemed like a bargain store item). Smaller than expected but that worked-out better for my uses. Overall the brush worked-out better than I thought it would but not Japanese quality.

Value and quality.
The price is fantastic as is the brush! I had owned an early Philips Sonicare, this brush is way easier to use, lighter in weight and the small head reaches my back molars where I am having problems with all types of manual toothbrushes. The addition of so many toothbrush-heads makes it such that my husband and I can share the one handset. A nice appliance and a great bargain.

Excellent, like the Kuhn Rikon, but sharper.
