New products not as good as older Stanley.
When I got the plane, new out of the box. The blade had a chip on the corner. It also had micro-chips on the blade on half its width. I wasn’t happy with the quality of the plane Very disappointed. I will not buy any Wood River products. I have a 65 year old Stanley 4 1/2 that is much better quality.
