Pro quality studio all-rounder on a budget!
One of the best Chinese large-diaphragm condensers out there. The AKG circuit design is cribbed straight from the U87Ai, and while the components aren't terribly high end, the sound quality is fantastic for the price. It's easily worth double the MSRP, and with a little skill can be easily modified to sound like mics costing over $1000. The - 20dB pad makes it useful on loud sources, and the multipattern switch makes it versatile for use as a room mic, or vocal, or even hard-to-mic instruments like piano and cello. A studio Swiss army knife!

Solid, well constructed, every bit as fabulous looking as the photo
We already had one of these for our daughter, and her brother wanted another to match. But the pink version was out of stock everywhere we looked. We're so glad we found an eBay seller who still had some!
Construction is solid, drawers are on good rails so they come all the way forward without falling out, and the kids love 'em. I'm pretty sure the "leather" is actually vinyl, but we weren't looking for real leather anyway. Baxton apparently still makes this style in black or white, just discontinued the pink version. Very pleased with the product!
