One key to rule them all

I received four padlocks and 8 identical keys. The padlocks look perfectly weatherproof, but I'm not actually using them outside, so I won't be testing that. The little caps that sit between the shackle and the body are mobile, and I can see that they could get knocked off when unshackling, however that hasn't happened to me. The best bit is the convenience of knowing that I only have to carry one key, and don't have to spend time figuring out which key goes with which lock.

Folk music that proves how good it can be

I actually heard the title track of this album on Ballina and Killaloe radio (high five to their other listener) and it just instantly stood out. The musicianship, production quality and Cara's voice. No wonder it was so well received at the time. Why did I only find out about this music now? Oh well, at least I can enjoy catching up.

New Shimano Deore LX RD-M580 Rear Derailleur Rapid Rise

Fine, but moves the opposite way to normal

Before buying this, make sure (unlike me) that you know what 'Deore LX' and 'Rapid Rise' mean. This means that pulling the cable makes the derailleur move the opposite way to normal. Therefore, if you are buying this as a replacement for standard Deore, you will have to learn to push the opposite levers to change gear. It's not the end of the world. Apart from that, it's fully compatible, and working fine.
