One Tough Little Truck
I purchased this to work in the strip mine on my o scale train layout. So it was never really intended for play; just more or less as a static model which would be moved occasionally. I purchased it because Ertl Diecast products are, IMHO among the best! The detail, paint, wheels and tires are pretty much scale duplicates of their full size brothers! As a young lad I had quite a few Ertl diecast trucks, dozers, loaders, etc... In fact some of them I cleaned up and put on my layout as well! Since I am 54 and was tough on toys, the fact that they survived is a testament to their strength and durability. Today, my son has his own collection! To me, Ertl stands for: Quality, value, accuracy, durability and longevity! They are a great brand!

I love my chair!
I was disgusted when the cheap plastic base on my leather desk chair cracked and broke! After 8 years, I just got my chair broken in.I found this base online and ordered it. It is as advertised! Aircraft aluminum, machined, beautiful polished finish, great quality all around! Nice, black rubber foot accents. I would highly recommend this product! If you have a favorite chair with a broken or substandard base, you need this solid, well made product! Thanks EBay!

American Made Quality and Simplicity!
1 of 1 found this helpful I learned about this product from "Cutlery Corner" which airs on television during the week. I have purchased a few items from them and saw the creator of this product, Paul Block on one of their weekend shows. It immediately reminded me of the Smith's Sharpener I own which is a non-flexible, ceramic "V" sharpener. It's ok, but doesn't doe scissors or anything serrated and does an ok job with Santoku Knives. What impressed me was the fact that the Block Sharpener uses a flexing sharpening system with "V" sharpening steels that flex to adapt to any blade. It also claimed to do serrated knives, axes, just about anything that still had a bevel. So I checked out their website but thought it was a bit too pricey. So low and behold, I find it on EBay! So I bought it. Guess what? I have gone around the house like a lunatic sharpening everything I can find and I can say that IT SAYS WHAT IT DOES AND DOES WHAT IT SAYS! Thank you Mr. Paul Block for such a simple, affordable, American Made solution that fills an everyday need every household has! This thing really works! Get one!
