Our Town -- great movie, poor quality copy
2 of 3 found this helpful This is one of my all time favorite movies and it has an Aaron Copland music score to boot. The only problem is that the reproduction quality is very poor. I have a cheat VHS tape of this movie and I thought the DVD would overcome the poor quality of the reproduction but it didn't; the quality is just as bad. I wish there was a good copy of the movie available because it is such a good movie. Oh, well, I'll just have to enjoy what I have.

Excellent movie - Danny Kaye is at his finest
This is an outstanding movie. Danny Kaye is at his finest in this movie as he protrays a court jester on a mission to save a baby king. It has numerous famous actors and actresses, many you might not recognize because they are so young. It has very witty, clever dialogue and flows very nicely. It has been a family favorite for years and we finally broke down and bought it because the video stores do not carry it any longer. You can't miss!
