Item was Soup Bowls
The item was advertised as salad plates but when they arrived they were actually rimmed soup bowls. They were indeed brand new and in excellent condition. They were packed to the hilt and wrapped several times in heavy paper to prevent breaking. But the bowls themselves had clear packing tape wrapped around them and had to be soaked in warm soapy water to get all the adhesive off. I was afraid it might chip the pattern when I took it off but it came off okay.
