VERY good quality replacement gear.
It;s not "compact", it's te same size as the OEM, portunately.
It's not "easy to start"; it has nothing to do with the engine or drivetrain.
It IS very well made, and all the necessary parts ae included. Also, the gear teeth are thicker and harder than the previous brand that only lasted one year.
VERY happy with this unit.

Problem Solved
It fit PERFECTLY and started up first pull. Didn't have to adjust anything. GREAT VALUE, and solved my problem with the old carb.

My blower is working again!!
I've been "rebuilding" the carb for several years, but it never woud run quite right, run for 5 min and quit, or run at full throttle only, or something.
I decided to look into a new carb. I was really supprised to find this complete NEW carb for so CHEAP, AND with ALL the extras. The new fuel lines alone were worth the price.
Its a very simple install. In 20 min my old Echo blower (I bought new in 1984) is running like brand-new!!
The only thing not included were instructions, but those are all on the web. Set both needle jets (H and L) at 1.5 full turns OUT (screw all the way in, NOT TIGHT, just til you feel it touch, then back it out 1.5 turns). This will get it running and you can fine tune it from there.
