Very nice
The stock is a bit snug on a mil spec buffer but a little hair dryer action did the trick. A bit of a mistery on installation but some study reveals the secret . All that aside I really like it.

Touchy tuner
1 of 1 found this helpful This is a fine receiver. Does everything as represented. My only complaint is the tuner is not very precise and a bit touchy but in all honesty most radios in this price range have the same issue. The only one I ever found dead on was the Grundig for a meager $150.00 A little too much for my taste these days.

Perfect for one tenth the cost

Along with a little diligent honing of the trigger and hammer surfaces with some very five valve compound I ended up with a trigger pull so crisp and comfortably light it has been compared to $250 drop in units. More money doesn't always equal best option.
