Flawless performance

This cable modem is supported by a large number of ISP's, including Grande. The indicator lights are very visible and bright. Power is via an external "wall-wart" style switching power supply that provides 12VDC. The unit runs cool.

USB to Serial + 3.3v power

It does what it's supposed to. It also works fine under Linux out of the box. By adding a resistor and a push button, it can be turned into a programmer for the ESP-01.
