Does the job, but...
1 of 1 found this helpful The cable works as described, but the audio quality of my Kenwood MC-60 mic is too low to use with a new Icom 7300 without the preamp, and therein lies the rub. The MC-60 preamp has a static noise, and swapping it with an identical MC-60 had a comparable noise when the preamp was turned on. Online searches showed an r.f. feedback problem with the wiring in the MC-60, but there was no change to the noise with the r.f. output reduced to zero. I'm sure this cable would work well with other mics and rigs, but unless I can troubleshoot it won't be useful to me.

Does the job at an affordable price
The directions could be clearer, but functional machine at affordable price. Requires a little experimentation r.e. soap and water levels, but does the job.
