Fantastic book for new readers and old fans alike.
If you don’t know what tales from the gas station is, I would honestly just suggest looking it up. I fell in love with this story through the readings of Mr. Creepy Pasta so naturally I had to get the audiobooks when they happened. But I decided I just had to get the book as well.
To old readers, this book covers most of what we already know but it’s still a great read. We get little details that we never got before and it’s fun to see the telling through the book, with the blog being a different entity. Of course this isn’t all just already told stories. We get a great new story (that lost post story we heard about in the blog) and get a much cleaner ending to what happened to certain people and how it actually got tied up. So certainly worth a read or listen.
As for the quality of the book. It’s a very nice quality and great price for a hard cover. The whole thing is a fantastic quality and probably a better quality than any other book I have on my shelf. I am very happy to have gotten the physical copy even though I already got the audiobook. I’m definitely grabbing the second volume as well.

For some but not me...
8 of 9 found this helpful I’ve been wanting a smart watch for some time so I finally was able to snag a reasonably priced Apple Watch. The build and display and all that is good but I find that honestly it isn’t worth the price. Thankfully I paid a lot less then the price of new but the limitations of the watch are insane. You can’t do anything outside of get notifications you can’t reply to, check the time, and keep track of basic workout information. You can’t do almost anything from within the watch itself, it all has to go through the watch app. That... really isn’t very useful for a wearable. I’ve tried desperately to find any actual use for the casual user who isn’t a fit head and I just can’t find one. I’ve loved all my Apple products over the years. iPhone, Mac, iPad, iPod... but this is the first time I’ve felt buyers regret for an Apple product. I can see how this would be nice for some people but unless you are someone really obsessed with tracking your steps or something, just stick to a regular watch. And even then, there are much cheaper options.

Definitely a bit different.
I had gotten this right before the cereal came back into production in the US and I was certainly not impressed. The cereal from the 90s didn't have marshmallows, at least not before I stopped eating it. So I wasn't thrilled with the marshmallows in this. Now there is a version in the US that has marshmallows and i'm not a fan of that either. The big kicker, though, is that the cereal itself just tastes a little off to me. It's been a while since I had this, but I still had some when the cereal came back to the US and I distinctly remember a significant taste difference. This is good, but just get it in the store if you can.
