Excellent Budget Asus Motherboard for 2nd/3rd gen Intel CPU's
2 of 2 found this helpful Good value and feature set, good support and driver availability. Cheapest board you can get to support a 2nd or 3rd gen i7 with no issues. Even has some basic overclock and more advanced features hidden in the bios.

Optimal upgrade
This was the single fastest and most powerful gpu I could find to be compatible with the Dell Precision M4700, which has an mxm 3.0a slot. Once installed, I overclocked the core and memory by about 30% and now get performance on par with a mobile GTX 760m, and temps stay around 60c after long gaming sessions with a fresh application of arctic silver 5. Couldn't be happier with the results!
