Pretty but awkward.

Clumsy, a bit tight and awkward to fit the reed, mainly because of size and imperfect form. Having said that, it works once it's on.

Nearly but not quite

Fires in pins, doesn’t bury the heads. This may be due to material thickness (19mm mdf) and/or 30mm pin length, but the heads ‘should’ be under the surface. They’re not. I’ve made all the adjustment there is. I shall be trying shorter pins and thinner boards, as well as looking to move that which the adjustment wheel moves, even further. We shall see. Good, user friendly design otherwise though.
