Worked for two days
I charged it in the sun a full day in the OFF position before setting it up. Initially, it worked fantastically. The sensor was very sensitive out to about 30 feet, and about 150 degrees around. But the solar panel didn't seem to be charging it enough to keep it running throughout the day. I charged it another full day while off. It lasted less time the second try. Now, it won't charge at all.
I think there's something wrong with the capacitors. Buyer beware.

Juicy
Summer Purple is a little more on the violet side. In fact it is the exact color of blackberry juice! There's a tad of shading too, making this ink a new favorite of mine.

Bang for buck
Platinum inks last a long time due to the drier feeds. So for 4 cartridges at this price, that translates to about $1 a month for ink. You can't even beat that with those garbage ballpoint pens.
