Gotoh
The Gotoh tuners are a quality product and exactly what I needed for the latest guitar build.

Fender Pickup specs
5 of 5 found this helpful Just some warnings about Fender's spec's. I was using Hot Noiseless for a while and like them but they seemed a bit weak despite Fender rating them as 5 - their loudest rating. So I went to a store and tried every Strat pickup. Decided I liked the Texas Special best because just a bit more treble and definitely louder than HN despite Fender only rating them as 4.
I then found the best price and ordered the TS's. I was a little concerned they might be knock-offs due to the low price, so I checked the resistance and found it to be about 7% lower than what the box says. If this happens to you, don't panic. A little research discovered that most Fender pickups read about 5-10% lower than their specs. It's ok because they are calibrated by the number of windings, which is more important for the sound than the resistance. I still wish Fender was more accurate with their numbers.

Plated Steel strings
Listed as Nickel, but actually nickel plated steel. So a little louder plugged in and a little harder to bend notes, which I do a lot of. They are a bit vague about the life extending coating. I hope they last as long as EXP's, which I loved till they were discontinued. This is the best replacement I've found for them so far. The nickel and coating should make the frets last longer than with full steel strings. The coating doesn't affect tone at all. Plenty of highs.
