The unit is fine but not "like new"

Two things were an issue with this product. I bought it for my mom so was hoping for "like new" no issues. Anyway, the case arrived broken on the corner. I cannot say if it was packaging or not because I had it shipped directly to her house. She determined that it was not serviceable so has to order a new case. That was one of the reasons I chose this unit - case included and no additional $$ outlay for Mom. Secondly, the screen protector that came on the iPad was put on in a dusty environment. She asked me if there was a problem with the screen since it was so bubbly. Good thing I knew the likely culprit. I just told her to peel it off and chuck it. The unit itself seems fine, but it wasn't the experience I was hoping for as a gift in "like new" condition.
