    WORX WG743 2X20V 17" 4.0Ah Lawn Mower w/ Powershare, Mulching & Intellicut
    May 14, 2020
    Decent mower
I purchased this mower so my 12 year old daughter can help me mow our ½ acre yard. The 4 aH batteries lasted as long as I had hoped. I would say they could mow a small to fairly typical city-sized yard. The intellicut actually works. We could hear it kick in where we have thicker patches that grow lush and long quickly. This mower was able to handle it decently. The grass was probably between 4-5 inches in those areas and I set the blade height to 2 inches. It adequately handled the job. Adequate means it mulched decently though there were some places it left minor clumping. I already had one set of 4 aH batteries, so when the first ones were spent, we placed the next set in and she kept mowing. She finished mowing her part before the second set were spent. I also have 6 aH batteries on the way. I’m very interested to see how much cut time is added using these. For my purposes, I’m very pleased with this mower. My 12 year old can handle it because it is light. It actually does a decent job of mulching. That said, here are some concerns: I’m already bought into the Worx line, so this was a good deal for me. However, for someone not already bought in, I think it is cost prohibitive and lacks some of the features similarly priced mowers offer. I’m concerned how the motor might handle an accidental mow over of a decent sized stick or other object. I’m concerned it will be difficult to find replacement blades and am concerned these blades will be difficult to sharpen due to their light duty nature. Does the handle “fold down?” Kind of. You will scratch up the handle bars doing so. For the cost, they should have had a lock and latch system for clean fold downs. For me, these concerns are not as big of a deal. It is a secondary mower I am using to teach my children how to mow. This is appropriately sized for smaller yards and I wouldn’t hesitate recommending it for such, but there are a couple of other mowers I would look at if you aren’t already bought into the Worx line.

Dyson V7 Fluffy HEPA Cordless Vacuum Cleaner | Blue | New
    Aug 03, 2020
Good product that COULD have been FANTASTIC
This vacuum meets my expectations. We have engineered vinyl plank throughout most of our living areas, so I wanted a vacuum that will not scratch into the protective finish. That is essentially what sold me on this over the duoclean system from Shark. The comb brush on the duocleans are pretty stiff, and you can't shut that part off completely, so I would not be comfortable using that daily on our floors. Performance: It gets stuff off the floor very well. We had done a little dry wall work and I broom swept up what I could. There was a fine dust left behind. The Dyson got the dust off the floor. That was impressive. The "fluffy" roller really does a great job. Power: Adequate. I thought we might buy the other head attachment for doing carpet but I don't think this could really do a good job on carpet. At the price point, I think one is better off going a step up or two with Dyson's lineup if you want to also clean carpets. Sadly, we will have to keep a second vacuum for doing bedrooms. Battery: I'm able to vacuum approximately 700 sq feet and still have battery left. I'm happy with this. That said, Dyson dropped the ball on their battery design. Everything is snap and go on this stick...except the battery. Had Dyson made the battery clip on and off like tool manufacturers have been doing, people like me would buy a second stand alone charger and second battery. Tool manufacturers have known for YEARS batteries get consumer buy in . This is a significant faux pas. Add to that they use different batteries for different models...this was dumb. Really dumb. Now if another manufacturer offers the one thing I'm looking for - a fluffy only roller - and easy battery swap out...they'll be getting my business instead. Wall hanging: I like this overall. A better design would have been simply seating it firmly onto the wall hanger. Lift and pull straight out. As designed, one must swing it out to remove and swing it in to plug in. Many people are mounting this in their closets. Having room to swing means taking up a larger foot print than is necessary. Overall, I am happy with this Dyson. I'm just befuddled by some of their design choices.
