Liftmaster 8500W Jackshaft Garage Opener (backup battery and wifi built in)

Too many pluses to list

After being told that the doors and structure asbuilt could not have an operator installed. We were told this by a Liftmaster installer. I had just seen one of the jackshaft operators in use in an RV garage while in Florida.I went online and found the installation instructions took the required measurements then ordered the units. They arrived and the installation went perfectly.This installation was a little tricky as the building is all steel so a couple metal plates where made for the slack cable switch and the operator stay. The hardware was changed to fasteners made for steel.

The Best Cable Care.

I have used this product for years, it extends cable life indefinitely. Not only does it extend life but it also reduces the force required to operate the clutch. The only negative I ran across with this product is with braided and colored cables as the lubes can cause discoloring. I ran a Harley Davidson shop that specialized in service and repair and I lubed the cables as specified by the service manual. I have used this lubricant on my personal motorcycles, my 2001 Ultra Classic is still running the original cables. I have not found another lubricant to compare with this product.
