NO VISIBLE RESULTS -- RETINOL JUST MIGHT NOT BE ALL THAT
1 of 1 found this helpful Feb 29, 2020
This is my 2nd round of using Sunday Riley Retinol products; the serum during the day and the Luna oil at night. It has been nearly 5 months and I honestly cannot say there is any difference in my skin's texture or a visible change in the size of fine lines and pores. In all fairness, before I tried Sunday Riley products I used Drunk Elephant Retinol products for four months and they did not show results, either. Maybe Retinol just isn't all that.

IT'S A VERY GOOD NIGHT CREAM -- END OF DISCUSSION
3 of 4 found this helpful Before shelling out hundreds of dollars on Cle de Peau's La Creme, just stop for a minute and take three long, slow, deep breaths. Splash some cool water on your face, take a walk in the fresh air for ten or fifteen minutes. Now, quietly ask yourself exactly what you think this stuff is going to do, anyway? If it could straighten out wrinkles, cause lines to magically fill in, or provide a "lift" to sagging skin, it would not be available on ebay or even at Neiman Marcus. Would it? Don't play dumb with yourself, be honest.
Now, think for a minute. Have you even so much as tried a sample of Cle de Peau La Creme? If you're still hell-bent on trying it, that's where to start. After you shell out $20 for a sample (instead of $300+ for an ounce)you will find that there is no miracle. Cle de Peau is essentially a very good, rich night cream. A little goes a long way, it's not greasy, and it's not heavily scented. But it will not change your skin's texture, remove blotches or spots, or shrink your pores. Your face will feel softer the next day, not firmer.
Now, try not to hate me. I'm not bashing the stuff. I liked it. But it's a night cream, a good one, that's all.
