This amateur loves it
I know enough about lenses to know I don't know much. But, that said, this is easy to handle and use. My pictures look good and I am moe than satisfied.

problem with wire connections after usage, solved by retracting more slowly
One problem only, in design. When retracting the earbuds, one must dampen the stop so that the electric wire being retracted is not stopped too suddenly. If this happens, there is too much force on it and eventually it will develop problems connecting. I found that after a few weeks usage the connections became unstable, and would be at normal volume and then very faint, and remain faint until the wires moved, if then.
I found that if I pinched the wires lightly when retracting them and thereby treated them more gently, they lasted much longer.

It does a good job. It lasts, and it cuts my whiskers cleanly.
