Not AAA at all - requires special battery
Read the description carefully - this requires a special rechargeable 3.7v lithium ion battery that costs more than the flashlight. I was mislead by the "AAA" in the description.

Just junk - don't waste your money
Although these say "silver" or "gold", they are nickel-plated or brass-plated steel and extremely stiff, making them almost impossible to adjust so that they stay on without excessive pinching. The small bead popped off one end immediately, making the ring trash - it appears to have just been pushed on to start with, no threads. To make matters worse, I stupidly bought one set in each color. I wish I had not wasted my money and time.
