Great Teaching Tool
I am a retired gentleman who played trumpet in school over 50 years ago, who recently decided to return to trumpet playing for personal enjoyment.
I decided to take formal lessons to relearn the basics that I had forgotten long ago. My trumpet teacher who is in the US Marine Corps, Drum and Bugle Corps, asked me to get a copy of the Rubank Elementary Method for cornet or trumpet to get me started on the road to playing the trumpet again.
I have found this book to be very easy to use. That is the best recommendation that I can make for any new student of the trumpet or cornet. The cost of the book was reasonable and size of the print was easy to read.
