10 Hanks of Blue String & Erector Set Flag- Fast Shipping

Replacement String is exactly as the original used in old erector sets. One "hank" comes as a 10' length. It has the same properties as far as strength and resistance to untwining go. I've bought several dozen hanks and never had a problem. The question about "entertainment" for all practical purposes is irrelevant since it is not meant to be for entertainment. However, I'm sure that there is someone among the billions of ebay customers that would find a way to be entertained by it.

Nice, Sturdy, Compact Workstation

After my son and I sat on it together without even a hint of flexing I'm quite impressed from its ruggedness. I rigged up a setup where I could attach a 4" vise using the clamps included. Now I'm happy as kid on Christmas morning. Breaking down seems a bit awkward but I think that's just the learning curve. Removing the clamps also requires a bit of trial and error to successfully do that. After that it just packs away just about any tight spot. Amazing!

Fantastic Super Spirograph.

I had one about 50 years ago. Lots of fun and very educational. A lot of geometry and trigonometry can be developed here. You can even push a little pre-calculus from it. Mine set was long gone before I entered engineering but I'm sure some useful ideas were created/developed with it. I'm going to give it a few "trial rounds" and then it will become a Christmas gift. (Since it was already open who will know?) One of the ultimate in educational toys!
