Great outlets to have
These outlets are great because the give several options of configuring the returning water to your tank after filtration. Adjusting the flow makes a big difference within the tank to help with flow direction and aeration. These give a lot of options.

Excellance at it's finest
I can't say enough about these filters. The engineering, design, fabrication and workmanship can't be topped. I've owned a lot of filters and these are the best.

Consistantly Excellent
The canister replacement is of excellent quality as is all the products of API. The workmanship has always been there in the 50 years of production. The parts from my other filter, that the canister got damaged by human error, fit right into the new canister. The API Filstar filters are a definite strong choice when buying a filter.
