This saw will cut
Mine arrived in like new condition. Put the bar and chain on add gas and bar oil fires right up. Being 40:1 means I can't share gas with my buddy's who all have big names. Buy a new chain! I was cutting with friends this weekend and even though my chain in brand new, the 20" 53cc Husqvarna (basically saw exact saw) cut way faster than mine. He bought his saw three weeks ago. I tried putting his chain on mine, since they're made by same company right. His was too long by one link. So I can't tell you mine is just as good as his.
Also this saw smoked more than others and I'm hoping that's break in and not from the higher amount of oil in the gas. It would stall out a couple times after completing a cut like it wanted a break.
Overall for the price you're not going to loose. Put a good chain on it and you'll love it

Fit old one, I added instructions.
This fit a Red Ryder bb rifle that's about 30 years old. I'm guessing it would fit a brand new one too since they haven't changed designs. Remember the higher part faces the front sight when installed correctly. So take this, face the high part towards the mussel, insert into the groove on rear sight and while sliding in the groove raise the rear sight so it can fit under it. Once the first "step" is under it will drop down and shouldn't fall out again.

Just buy Makita brand
0 of 2 found this helpful I own six batteries, my friend has 33 in his cabinet shop, we like the ones with charge level indicators best. Makita batteries have gotten better. There was a time when I had a stack of nine dead batteries. If you try the nine genuine and end up disappointed like almost every person is, factor in the cost of that onto your next genuine battery purchase.
