A good way to correct an oopsie with your laptap.

It arrived very quickly, and well packaged. Fit was perfect. It worked perfectly on power up. Screen texture, colors and uniformity matched the original as nearly as I can tell. I haven't noticed any dead pixels. The only way it could be improved would be an instruction sheet on installation, but a couple minutes with a search engine provides everything you will need to know. Installation is actually very simple once you know how and the only "special" tool you need is a small Phillips screwdriver.

Reliable GPIB control

After having intermittent problems with lower cost GPIB adapters I purchased this. Right out of the box no problems with a variety of instruments.

Excellent low cost GPIB interface.

I was immediately satisfied by this unit. Software installation was trouble free on two different systems (Windows XP and Windows 10). I was able to correctly talk to both GPIB devices I have tried to date using the included shell software. APIs provided should make use with other software easy, though I have not yet verified this, nor have I tried installing it under Linux yet. The mechanical quality of the device is good, with large easy to use thumbscrews. A good feature is the use of a standard USB cable, allowing easy replacement if wear or breakage occurs (common in a lab environment). The USB cable provided with the interface is long enough to meet most needs and seems to be of good quality. Priced lower than most used units this is an excellent value.
