I like this corer and slicer better than my past plastic model. It seems to cut more easily, and it is stainless making it corrosion & rust resistant... My only concern is that the metal is thin gauge and with a lot of use there would be metal fatigue and breakage at the welds. Definitely not commercial quality, but for the price I would buy it again... Hope this helps others...

Maxwell and energizer are the batteries of choice for watch batteries. Normally they will last about 30 months in a quartz watch. As with any battery if left in the expired state there is a possibility of leakage and destroying the watch movement. The Maxwell battery normally does not leak. To be safe remove the battery after the battery has expired.

Good for the price
I always keep some of these quartz movements on hand to replace movements in clocks, for friends and family. Normally this is a fairly simple task. Remember shaft length is an important factor. If installing in a thin CD short shaft or installing in thick wood long shaft...There is 2 types of motion smooth sweep second hand and incremental 1 sec ticks. I have used both but now I prefer the i second tick as they seem to have more longevity...Hope this helps...
