This item was an exceptional deal. Mine came new in box with good instructions on removing the battery door of the camera (way easier than I imagined). The fit is "superb" matches the contour of the camera body flawlessly. Stop thinking about one and buy it. This should last you a life time for the price you would spend on lunch at at restaurant (tip included of course) I am so satisfied I purchasing a second one for my son to employ on his camera.
