One of the best toys ever!
1 of 1 found this helpful I have seven rescued cats here at home, ranging in age from 6 to 12 years old. Trying to get some of the older ones to play and get some exercise is a challenge! When I opened this up and placed it on the floor, it had everyone's attention right away. The catnip is a good way to entice them to use the scratcher in the middle...then they notice that the ball moves. All of my cats took turns, playing and batting the ball about. I will note that the toy is much easier for them to use on a non-skid surface, like short carpet, otherwise it gets smacked all around the room! It is holding up very well considering the abuse it gets on a daily basis and it's so popular here, that I have had to order a second one! It's a wonderful and entertaining product that has even my oldest cat scratching and playing again! I am very pleased with it and so are my cats.

The Haunted History of Halloween
4 of 4 found this helpful This is a great informative and fun documentary on the history of Halloweeen or All Hallow's Eve.
It starts with the story of the Celtic beginnings of the pagan custom of using food and sweets to lure ghosts back into the spirit world and brings you all the way up to modern-day donning of costumes and "trick or treating". It was not originally a child's holiday, but an adult ritual with it's controversial and dark side.
I enjoyed it thoroughly. Fascinating and very well done by The History Channel!

The Very Best!
1 of 1 found this helpful This great set of CDs from Los Lobos is the best of the best! I have enjoyed every one, over and over again. I would highly recommend this for any fans of this band. A true work of art and the packaging is wonderful, as well.
