This has revolutionised my kitchen! No longer having to boil a kettle to make a nice cup of tea, I have instant hot (almost boiling) water when I want it. It uses low current to heat up, so if you completely empty it then you'll have to wait for it to heat the water, but as long as you remember to top it up before you need it, then it holds the water at a set temperature ready for you. I usually refill it when it gets 2/3 empty. You need to rescale it monthly, that involves using citric acid powder & leaving it for around 2 hours to ferment, so no using it during that time! That's the only drawback I can see. I'd definately not go back to a kettle anymore.

Darla swop top fruit picker

A very clever way of safely picking fruit from a tree. I use mine to pick apples. The lightweight but sturdy pole extends to a decent length, and the picking fittment slots into the end. The prongs of the picker help to remove the apple from the tree, then the apples fall into a small cloth bag, so you can pick a few at a time. You can change this for other things such as a window cleaner etc so once you have the one pole you can use it for other things. Highly recommended product!
